One amazing part about my job is being part of the bride & grooms BIG day. The first day of the rest of their lives together. After the three day flower madness is over, the flowers usually end up back at my place. In the past, I’ve been giving them to friends, coworkers, and filling my own home {hey, florist like flowers too!} BUT after this past weekend’s wedding, I had a great idea! I decided to take them to a nursing home instead so that the elderly would enjoy them. With the help from Veronica from Veronica Sparrow Photography, we loaded up the florist & delivered them to Brookdale Richmond Place in Lexington, KY. I feel so truly blessed and humbled that we could share them with the elderly in our community!
